If you are unsure if your machining centre is large enough to support a trunnion assembly, it is worth looking at Kitagawa’s CK range of rotary tables. Currently available with either 160mm or 200mm faceplates, their ultra compact body size makes them uniquely designed for use with a trunnion, giving you a much expanded machining area when compared to a standard rotary table. The CK range are also available with in-built rotary joints, granting the ability to actuate workholding on the trunnion itself without any extraneous piping getting in the way.
