MultiZero Pneumatic Pallet

The MultiZero Pneumatic Pallet is a clamping pallet designed to replicate the surface of the MultiZero Base Plate. Alongside with the integration of pneumatic zero-point modules for automatic clamping. The Pneumatic Pallet provides automatic clamping while offering the same full workholding flexibility as the MultiZero Base Plate. Implementation of the MultiZero Pneumatic Pallet offers several advantages:

Automatic clamping flexibility: Customers can start by implementing the MultiZero clamping system and, at a later stage, upgrade to the Pneumatic Pallet to prepare their setup for automation. This flexibility accommodates diverse production needs. For instance, customers with highly varied part production can use the flexible clamping options. On the MultiZero Base Plate for individual parts and small batch production. When producing larger series, they can easily transition to the Pneumatic Pallet, which enables quick and efficient automatic clamping.
Lateral force compensation: The automatic clamping on the Pneumatic Pallet provides superior lateral force compensation, addressing shifts that may occur due to machining or thermal expansion of the workpiece and its surroundings. Unlike other market solutions, where the clamping device is positioned using nipples underneath, the MultiZero system besides nipples uses Slot Rails attached to the bottom of the device. These Slot Rails align precisely with an array of conical slots on the pallet. In this setup, the pneumatic modules serve only as clamping elements, not positioning components. This design ensures that all lateral forces are absorbed and distributed along the X and Y axes of the conical slots, maintaining perfect positioning and exceptional stability of the workpiece throughout the machining process.
