Workholding and machining equipment specialist, Kitagawa has extended its range of large through-hole power chucks with the introduction of the three-jaw BB221 at the Japanese International Machine Tool Fair (Jimtof) held in Tokyo, to be sold in the UK by their sole supplier, 1st Machine Tool Accessories.

Suitable for components measuring up to 530mm diameter, the new chuck incorporates a 166.5 mm diameter through hole, making it ideal for large diameter bar work, as well as heavy duty turning operations.
